“Iceland has been ranked as ‘The Safest Country in the World 2023’ at the Global Peace Index (GPI).”

“It is an yearly ranking conducted by the Institute of Economics and Peace to determine the safest nations in the world. The GPI measures the safety of countries on several criteria. It includes the degree of crime, violence, terrorism, and global conflicts.”

“But the USA has surprised the world by securing the 133rd spot in the chart. India is on 126th spot, above the USA. In fact, China, Saudi Arabia, El Salvador and Honduras are also considered to be more peaceful than the USA.”
